Populated cities, such as Metro Manila (the larger urban area has a population estimated at 21.3 million), Dhaka (greater Dhaka area has a population of over 18 million) and several cities in India, are very difficult places to live. Due to small suburb wages, a big part of the population migrates to the large cities searching for a better life. However, what they usually find is a huge "nightmare", without the possibility of paying for a room to sleep. The alternative is to find a small place along the railroads and to build with remnants of "trash" their houses. For example, in certain "houses" with only 4 m2, it is possible to find more than 12 people living there.

I started this photography project in the Philippines (Manila), followed by India and, finally, Bangladesh (Dhaka).
