The design of shoes has varied enormously through time and from culture to culture. When walking through the most stylish cities, like Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and while I was waiting for the green light to cross a street, I began to notice certain types of shoes that were completely out of the common, in terms of shape, material, and color. 

Since is not easy to photograph them, I started carefully taking some pictures, or sometimes asking for permission. Nowadays, photographing shoes is part of my routine.
